Midwest Optical Sytems bandpass filters are ideal for use in combination with LED or laser diode lighting. The filter consists of a precision polished glass filter with an anti-reflex coating. They are more rugged, thinner, less angular and have a very high transmission compared to conventional filters. Use of the band-pass filter enhances contrast and often undesirable effects of disturbing light from the surroundings are eliminated.
