The Lütze LOCC-Box is an intelligent electronic overcurrent protection device that provides reliable protection for 12/24 V DC systems in a narrow housing measuring just 8.1 mm. Integrated + and - terminals save space on the DIN rail. Push-in terminals ensure fast and reliable installation.
Product news
Unlike circuit breakers, which operate mechanically and can have high tolerances before tripping, Lützen electronic overcurrent protectors contain no mechanical parts and use a microprocessor to measure current accurately. This enables the electronic overcurrent protection devices to react immediately in the event of an overload or short circuit. In addition, Lützen electronic overcurrent protection devices also function reliably at the end of long cable runs.
The LOCC-Box-Mini has five selectable analog trip curves, ranging from fast to very slow. Fast tripping is suitable for sensors, for example, while slow tripping is better suited for motors and fans. The outputs of the LOCC-Box-Mini can be switched on and off via a digital input. Resetting can be performed directly on the device or remotely. In addition, channel-specific alarms can be enabled for the overcurrent protection, and alarm signals can be linked with a relay strip.
