Innovation and efficiency – that's what Stego's new and improved Loop Heater series heating elements represent. Thanks to their loop design, these heating elements offer excellent heating performance and ensure optimal heat distribution. Spring-loaded connections and DIN mounting brackets make installation quick and easy. Thanks to their vibration-resistant design, Loop Heater heaters can withstand demanding environments. The Loop Heater series is certified for use in the railway industry, so you can be sure of its reliability and quality.
Product news
The heaters are primarily intended to protect electrical and electronic components from condensation and moisture, which can cause short circuits. By heating the air inside the cabinet, the temperature of the enclosure is kept at an optimal level, thereby preventing moisture condensation.
There are five different series to choose from, with heating power ranging from 10 to 150 W depending on your needs.
The Loop Heater series is available in different sizes and models with a power range of 10–150 W to suit different needs. All heaters are supplied with spring-loaded connectors and can be mounted on a 35 mm DIN rail for quick installation. Installation time is reduced by up to 50%.
The Loop Heater series is highly energy efficient, which reduces operating costs and has less impact on the environment compared to less efficient heating elements. The LTF 065 also has an integrated thermostat with fixed values, so you don't need a separate thermostat to control the temperature.
Loop Heater heaters are safe to use thanks to spring-loaded connectors. This is particularly useful when transporting fully assembled electrical or control cabinets, as the connection cables cannot become detached during transport.
The LTS 064, LT 065, and LTF 065 series are designed to be touch-safe. Their light gray plastic housing insulates heat and keeps the surface temperature below +80°C. This protects maintenance personnel and prevents burns if the heaters are accidentally touched.
The Loop Heater series heaters are resistant to impact and vibration. The innovative aluminum profile means that the heaters are assembled in a new and efficient way.
All contact-protected loop heaters have been successfully tested for shock and vibration resistance in accordance with DIN EN 60068-2-27: 2010-02 and DIN EN 60068-2-64: 2009-04 in relation to DIN EN IEC standard 61373: 2011-04, category 1 B. This makes them suitable for environments with high vibration levels, such as mobile and even railway applications.
